Legal Affairs Division

Vision:

The vision is for the Legal Affairs Division to be a leader in providing legal services and a trusted reference in legal matters, striving to achieve justice in all decisions and procedures taken by the College while ensuring transparency in all administrative, legal, and technical processes, by keeping pace with legal and legislative developments and applying them in a way that guarantees the rights of the College and its staff.

Mission:

The mission centers on providing legal consultations to all departments and divisions of the College, responding to inquiries, and protecting the rights of the College and its staff through the application of laws, regulations, and instructions, and spreading legal awareness among College staff through lectures and seminars.

• Asst. Lect. Hisham Hamed Hussein – Manager, Implementation Unit

• Providing legal opinions on matters referred by the Dean of the College and on various other issues.

• Representing the College before the competent courts to claim and defend its rights.

• Concluding contracts for leasing sites belonging to the College in accordance with the relevant laws.

• Participating in investigative committees formed within the College, preparing their minutes, and submitting them to the College Deanship.

• Following up with courts, police stations, the Integrity Commission, and any other department requiring liaison.

• Following up on forgery cases and filing criminal complaints against offenders.

• Organizing guarantees (sureties) for admitted and incoming students, serving as security for recovering amounts that may become due from them due to damage to College property or submission of forged documents.

• Organizing and auditing contracts, providing legal opinions on them, and certifying contracts, guarantees, and undertakings, and maintaining a dedicated register including (names of the parties / contract duration / contract amount / obligations of the parties).

• Organizing undertakings for vehicle drivers committing them to maintain the vehicles assigned to them.

• Fostering legal awareness among College staff through lectures and seminars.
